Lately I’ve been working on a few larger WIPs, and more small items for the Gaia minishop. My resolve to draw more, larger images with backgrounds is all very well and good, but it means that production rate is going to slow down sharply while I curse background detail.

And, as usual, I’ve been forgetting to update this blog. >_< Here are some commissions I did for people on TinierMe; these are essentially sketch headshots. The method of coloring I used for these (and some character portraits for a project) works well on white and presumably other light BGs, but I don't think it'll work very well on dark BGs. There are a few larger drawings I've been working on, but I'm not sure when I'll finish those.

Some rough sketches of a character design for a short comic project I’m tentatively titling ‘Beneath the Willow Tree’, in spite of the fact that willows don’t feature all that prominently in it.
Just a quick update. There are some pencil sketches I did in a sketchbook that I have yet to scan, but I don’t really feel like scanning them at the moment; the majority of them are portraits, done for a short comic that I’m still revising at the moment.
I’ve been drawing a little these the past few days, most of it pretty useless stuff that I’m not even going to bother to add to the site gallery. (But the site blog needed an update, so . . .) I’m not having much success with finding a quicker method of CGing that I actually like; it may simply be that I don’t like the rougher/sloppier look.
When it comes to time, at any rate. I’ve been working on various things which are taking some time to complete, notably one full body design drawing that’s taking forever, and which I don’t particularly like to begin with. I’ve also been working on this comic (warning; some gore). Admittedly, right now, my dA account is more up-to-date than the website, since it’s much easier to update dA.
I’ve mostly lost interest in this wip, but I suppose I’ll struggle onwards and finish it eventually. I started it back in July, so you perceive my level of interest in it, I assume.
In the meantime I’ve been studying, drawing, watching episodes of Aeon Flux, drawing some more, and so on.
